18 Sep Not Sure Whether to Choose Kiln Dried Firewood or Natural Firewood?

Are you debating trying kiln-dried firewood in your log burner? Are you unsure of the benefits that come with using kiln-dried firewood that would not necessarily be an option with untreated logs? Here at Just Firewood, we have the perfect alternative to natural firewood.

Located in Saxmundham, Suffolk, our small firewood business specialises in the high-quality production and retail of kiln-dried firewood to customers all over Suffolk, North Essex and South Norfolk. Unlike your conventional firewood, kiln-dried firewood comes with many benefits, but first here is what you should know about our firewood.

We specifically supply and deliver premium quality birch, ash and oak firewood in a range of different package options. Each piece of wood is kiln-dried and precisely cut into 25cm logs to ensure they fit in any type of burner, then is sold as our bagged firewood, our firewood crates or our mighty firewood packages. Discover our different kiln-dried firewood options and order your chosen logs today.

What is Kiln Dried Firewood?

Kiln drying wood where any excess water and moisture are extracted from the wood to allow for longer and cleaning burning, therefore heating your home for much longer at higher temperatures as well as producing more of an aromatic, cosy smell all whilst keeping the glass of your burner clean so you can enjoy the warmth, smell and sight of your kiln dried logs burning for an extended period of time.

Unlike freshly cut and untreated firewood, kiln-dried firewood lasts a lot longer when burning, which essentially makes kiln-dried firewood more affordable as you’ll discover that you won’t need anywhere near as many logs per fire, therefore making the most out of your kiln-dried firewood package.
